Book a Telehealth New Patient consultation with one of our amazing doctors today through our secure online portal. You'll be able to discuss your ailment and health history at length, as well as have all of your acupuncture-related questions answered before you come in for your visit.

Please note that payment for this consultation is required in advance when booking the appointment, even for patients with insurance. If we are able to bill your insurance, we will refund you the difference if your copay ends up being less than the $50 self-pay consultation fee once we receive the Explanation of Benefits.

Acupuncture Treatment

For established patients and for new patients that have already had acupuncture in the past AND are coming in for a straight-forward musculoskeletal pain-related condition (examples are neck pain, low back pain, knee pain). For established patients and for new patients that have already had acupuncture in the past AND are coming in for a straight-forward musculoskeletal pain-related condition (examples are neck pain, low back pain, knee pain). If you've never had acupuncture before and/or if your condition is something other than musculoskeletal pain (examples are rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety, digestive issues, hormonal issues, etc.), then you need a one-on-one consult. Please book yourself a new patient consultation instead of acupuncture treatment (the doctor will help you book your treatment at the end of your consult if they feel acupuncture can help).

Dr. Michael Ferris OMD

Dr. Mike is originally from San Diego, CA, but lived most of his adult life in Taiwan where he worked as a freelance translator of Mandarin Chinese. He moved back to the States to attend his acupuncture and Oriental medicine program.

He specializes in orthopedics and pain management, but also deals frequently with men’s health and asthma cases.

When he’s not working, Mike enjoys reading, hiking, and woodworking. He lives in Summerlin with his wife, Dr. Rachel, and their son, Owen.

Dr. Pang Kuo "George" Hsu OMD

Dr. Pang Kuo “George” Hsu joined our practice in 2022 and has been a wonderful addition. He specializes in orthopedic acupuncture for pain relief, and herbal medicine.

Dr. Hsu is contracted with the following insurance companies: Aetna, Culinary Health Fund, TriWest (VA) and United Healthcare.

Dr. Rachel Kohl OMD

Dr. Rachel Kohl is our Director and owner. She has been treating patients for 12 years and specializes in orthopedic acupuncture for pain relief.

When Rachel isn’t busy here in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, son, Owen, and 5 month old puppy Penny (who you will probably meet when you come in - she’s our office dog and future therapy dog in training).

Dr. Karin Moeller OMD

Dr. Karin Moeller joined our practice in 2022 and has been a great addition to our team. She specializes in orthopedic acupuncture for pain relief and likes to integrate acupuncture, TCM herbs, bodywork techniques such as cupping, gua sha (scraping), and Tui Na (Chinese massage) to provide complete healthcare for her patients.

When Dr. Karin is not working, she enjoys traveling and trying new foods with her husband, Paul, and two daughters, Madison and Morgan. Dr. Karin has been a lifelong dog owner, currently the mom of two rescues, Macie and Murphy.

Dr. Leslie Pasternack has been with our practice since 2019. She specializes in a distal style of acupuncture called the Balance Method in which points on the arms and legs are utilized to balance the entire body for a variety of ailments.
